A wide variety of items can be powder coated, from very small parts to large items up to 6 metres in length.
We are an adaptable, family run firm which means that the company can handle small batches of powder coating work in addition to volume production runs, including "awkward" work such as one-off coating jobs, special coating finishes, masking, and refurbishment by stripping, grit-blasting, and re-processing.

Powder coating consists of applying fine particles of dry paint to a part. The final cured coating has the same appearance as a 2-pack wet paint.
At BWi Powder Coating, the powdered paint is applied by the powdered paint being electrostatically charged and sprayed onto the part.
The part is then placed in our powder coating oven and the powder particles melt and coalesce to form a continuous film.

When powder coated items are properly installed ie without damaging the powder coating, if maintained regularly the coating should be more or less permanent. The coating, although not metallurgically bonded to the metal will not crack, chip or peel as with conventional paint films
Powder coating ensures a superior metal finish by applying uniform powder coverage even on the most complex products. This is then fused to the surface (cured) in a temperature-controlled environment.
The advantages of powder coating include:
